Hi. A quick question.
When running a Ruida 6445 in Analogue mode (0-5) there are 2 wires from the Ruida to the power supply.
One is the changable voltage and the other indicates a LOW for to turn on the laser.
I take it this will be held at 5v until the laser needs to fire and then will be brough LOW.
Many thanks for any advice.. I am making a controller board between the Ruida and the Laser power supply.
You’ve got the L-AN and L-ON signals right, but remember the third wire from the controller’s GND to the power supply’s G terminal.
The 6445 can control two laser tubes, so make sure you’re using the L-AN1 and L-ON1 terminals.
Bonus: The WP1 terminal must connect to the cooling flow sensor and pull it to GND when the pump is running and the flow is good. If you’re air-cooling an 80 W laser diode head, an air flow sensor would be an extremely good idea.
