Hello all, I have a 60 MOPA laser and have Z axis and made an X axis table which I connected to the rotary as seen in the first picture and I am trying to engrave a steal ruler, I used repeat marking and it is working except that they are overlapping although the overlap in settings is 0 is there a way to make the overlap negative
If what you are saying is your step at 150 needs to stretch out a bit, go into your repeat marking setup and and subtract a few steps, like if your 360 setting is 5000 change it to 4990, 4980 or so, trial and error. I don’t think repeat marking has overlap in setup. It has it’s own setup screen, different then rotary marking.
If I remember correctly, my X table has a 5mm pitch, so 1 full rotation moves the table 5mm. 5000 microsteps per rotation would mean 1 microstep =5mm/5000 = 0.001mm so maybe you need to subtract a little more then 10 or 20, like 100!
