Hello, i have a brand new CW5200 from S&A. It works fine but every time i switch it off and on it goes back to original settings as i understand, which is the ambient temperature ±5 or something like this. When i set it up for constant temperature 19-21 works fine until i switch it off. Is there something i am missing?

While helping a friend set up his 130W Michi laser and S&A 5200 chiller, I ran into the same problem you’re having. I have a 60W OMTECH and an OMTECH CW-5200, so I brought the setup instructions for my 5200. I kept having the same problem you are. It turns out that the setup for the OMTECH chiller and the S&A chiller are very similar, but not exactly the same. Once I had the S&A instructions in hand, I was able to get the settings to stick. It was a good thing I showed up when I did, he’d just plugged in the chiller, (which was running at ambient temperature, about 85 degrees) and started trying to use the laser. Amazingly, he didn’t burn up the tube.
I have a 5202 for my co2, followed the directions in the manual and it’s doing fine.
How old is this machine?
The only thing in there is the temperature/refrigeration module.

Paul is correct and the Omtech version is slightly different in operation than the S&A Model. The video I posted is for Omtech, my mistake. I have S&A myself and followed a different video, which
I can’t locate right now. Anyway, the instructions Jack posted have the correct procedure. The main difference is at the last step you need to push the RST button to save settings. Hope this helps.
The machine is brand new. I thought it’s exactly the same woth Omtech. I’ll give it a try with the manual
