The S value varies with different jobs. I am using Lightburn on a pen plotter and at this point a S value of 40 is used on the servo pwm. Where is this value calculated and can it be controlled?
This may be worth your review for how the LightBurn ‘S-Value Max’ setting interacts with your $30 S-Value firmware setting. Device Settings - LightBurn Software Documentation
I may be getting random numbers because my grbl firmware for the control board I am using is .9i and has no $30 option. I will just have to edit the gcode files to enter what I need. Thank you for you quick response.
The S value is (Layer power) x (S-value Max). That’s it.
