I have a replacement S30 pro laser and even though the consul reads $32=1 the laser is constantly firing!
Sounds like a potential hardware issue
Do you have access to a multimeter so you could test the PWM line that goes to your LaserHead?
Does it fire the whole time, even after turning the power on? Be aware, the fan is always on. Or does it just fire constantly during a job? In the first case, it sounds like you should try to re-flash the firmware.
Yes fires immediately on switch on
SORTED! i was asked to move a switch on the motherboard as I was having problems with the previous laser and was never advised to move it back! well I tried it and it is working fine now! thank you all for listening
