S30 Ultra 11W to 33W

Hi there,
I accidentally broke the brass fitting while changing the lens on my S30 ultra 11W.
I’m now considering upgrading the laser head on my S30 ultra 11w to 33w. Is it just a plug and play thing or do I need to change the motherboard as well.

I have just upgraded from S9 to S30 33w. I had assumed that I could just change the head and continue to use everything else, but it required a different motherboard and cables.

This wasn’t a bad thing because the new board supports Bluetooth which is a big benefit.

Popping the motherboard out is just one extra simple step and the instructions in the kit are pretty good.

You don’t need to change anything else. The heads of the ultra series are interchangeable.

(The S9 mentioned above is another story since that model is very outdated and is not compatible with more changes)

Though you can also get the brass part from the support to repair your 11W module.
