S9 motherboard replacement help. Not techy

Hello guys! I have a problem with my Sculpfun S9. Everytime I turn it on, the power light and adaptor blinks. I tested my adaptor and it seems to be working fine.

My only option now is to buy another motherboard. I am from the Philippines and there are no official store online, and no physical store either.

Ran across with this post and I am not very techy. I am afraid of voltages and other else. Will this be compatible with my s9? My s9 originally doesnt have an auto air assist feature but I am tempted with this.

@misken might be able to provide better help

However the fact your power adapter can output voltage does not mean necessarily is a good power adapter
I would suggest
a) unplug laser head from machine and power on, same behavior
b) use a replacement - similar spec - power adapter to test

Hello I followed your advice and unplugged the laser head and the blinking stopped!! So I tried to ruled out what caused the blinking and its this slot her

Anything I could do to fix this?

This makes me think your power adapter is either the wrong one by mistake

or it failed
Recheck the power output of the power adapter or try a different one with same rating

Alternativly, you can try to run laser at 1% power see if it does any difference

To me, it looks like a faulty power supply as well. It’s usually not the connector on the board, it’s the device you connect to it that needs the power and kills the faulty power supply.
