@laser so this was a bug that should have been fixed for Linux in v0.9.24 already.
Can you confirm the distro and version of linux you are using? Also please confirm you are trying to save a legacy format from 0.9.24 and not 0.9.21 - we introduced the new format in 0.9.21 but it still has that bug. So if you are trying to save from 0.9.21 it will not work.
I am running “LightBurn 0.9.24, built czw 2021-04-22 @ 02:47” and I reproduced it right now.
Maybe install process (making LightBurn-Linux64-v0.9.24.run
executable and running it) has not fully succedeed? Is there some way to verify integrity or uninstall cleanly?
Can you confirm the distro and version of linux you are using?
lsb_release -a
gives
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
Release: 20.04
Codename: focal
I am running Lubuntu.
I tried running check for updates, but got “Error creating SSL context ()”
Weird - I will check into it. Thank you for the details.
This is confirmed fixed in the next release. Sorry about that @laser
In the meantime, if you manually enter the file name to save with the .lbrn
extension it will save correctly on the version you have.
