Saved files are Empty can't start laser

Hi,

I have some noname 500x300 40w laser. It wasn’t running for half a year, but it was working back then no problem.

When I save file it’s Blank no metter what. Laser also see it white as snow.

Engraver can be moved via PC (ethernet) and check frame no problem but when I send file or try to start nothing happens

Laser is in ready state. I tried reinstaling cleaning logs deafult settings nothing works and I don’t know why.

Laser is working with old files that are inside controler.

have you enabled laser2 by any chance?

Although the Ruida is great for controlling a laser, some of it’s other functions are questionable.

Such as when it runs low on memory. They do all kinds of strange things. I’d suggest you delete some of your previous file from it’s memory…

You can save them to a U-Disk, but if you have the source you can re-create them.

I don’t know what you mean by the files are empty.

laser2? Probably not, I don’t know where to check it.

I deleted all things from memory, still nothing.

When I create a circle and send it to the laser, the laser doesn’t see anything in preview in laser screen.

Also, I tried RDworks and it works normally, so I think it’s Semang in lightburn settings.

I don’t know how you can change this. It always shows the tool path the laser will follow.

Even when I’ve done some very small screw holes, I can see them on the Ruida machine console.

If it’s working with RDWorks, then there is likely an issue with how Lightburn is configured, can’t think of how, but seems to point that way.

Can you post your simple circle .lbrn2 file so we can see it and send it to our Ruida for testing?

You lost me here.

Can you attach a file here so someone can look at it? Save the LightBurn project file and attach it - If you’re not seeing anything in the preview there’s something going on.

You do have “Optimize Cut Path” disabled, which is weird, and will skip the ordering by layer step that most people expect, but that’s not going to prevent it from previewing or running on the laser itself.

This ii what inside.

Simulation also works

and there is file itself

test.lbrn2 (16,4 KB)

Haha, I was tired- something

have a nice day

You have a tiny rectangle out here:

That could be causing issues for you, depending on which controller you have.

Otherwise I don’t see any specific issues with your file.

Turn on Window > File List, then look in the File List window to see how many files you have in your controller. If you store things there regularly you might need to delete some.
