Scaling issue and mirror everything

Anything I create on the software is then double the size when I create it on the laser. Is there a scaling setting in the software that I missed? Yesterday I was etching something that was 5.5" across but I had to scale it down in Lightburn to about a size of 2.55" to get it to etch the correct size. I couldn’t figure an exact scaling factor I just used the red laser preview on the part to get it where I needed the size to be.

Also everything I create has to be mirrored in the software before etching otherwise it comes out as a mirrored image. I saw a mirror switch in the laser settings which I tried but that didn’t have any effect on it. All the tutorial videos I have seen it seems like the laser etches exactly what the screen shows and you don’t have to mirror it within the software.

Make sure Rotary Mode is not enabled:

With that Off, then verify the Design Units are set to inches rather than millimeters:
