Hi. I’m trying to use the scanning offset adjustem feature. I followed the steps on the guide and get the laser to engrave it (i have a 5.5 diode) but even though the laser works, it doesn’t engrave the test. It engraves if I don’t activate the overscanning feature.
Am I doing something wrong? Can someone please help? Thank you!
Here are the settings I’m using:
You may need to look at the following settings. You can move the test object away from the boundary to provide room for the head to move past the burn spot, by the programmed distance, when using Overscanning. This option allows the head to travel at speed while burning, then turns the laser off and continues to move in the same direction, slowing to make the turn. You need to provide enough room for this extra movement.
Does the laser follow the path, but not fire? Or does it just do nothing at all?
