buon giorno, spero di risolvere il problema ,ho sempre utilizzato strutture neje e non ho mai avuto problemi con lightburn,ultimamente ho acquistato una struttura autocostruita con scheda madre mks dlc 32 V 2.1 a differenza delle altre schede questa va solo con grbl m3 ora con questa funzione non riesco a far modulare il laser e di conseguenza anche a velocita elevata e minima potenza mi fa il solco ,come posso fare ce possibilita di aggiornare il firmware io sono un po ignorantello perche non l ho mai fatto grazie a tutti
you have to go here and download the tool and firmware for the DLC32. Then you can upload it in the mainboard using the MKS tool, the latest firmware allow laser power modulation.
And if you want to use also airassist here is a little guide i’ve done in another forum

you don’t have to install any firmware, you have to activate it in Ligthburn, parameter $22=1 in console or you go to edit->machine settings and you find “homing and limits” the $22 is there
