just upgrade my laser module to the s22 ultra, when trying to home I get alarm 8 limit switches are in tact changed the distance pull off from 2 to 5 but previously had it at 4 and was fine, then when I try to frame I get alarm 2. someone please help!!
Alarm 2 is based on the failure of the homing cycle
If machine fails homing it will probably apear as Mpos -600 -600
You need to fix homing first and then it should fix other issues.
Alarm 8 can also be based on belt tension , so review the mechanicals of the machine and take close attention to the homing cycle
Regarding homing, you most probably need to set $5=1 (that’s the common limit switch setting for the S30 series mainboards).
