I am looking for a way to understand how to write a script, or commission someone to write a script that can do the following kind of thing. Is there a development toolkit available?

There isn’t a scripting system or SDk for LightBurn, but the LBRN project file format is intentionally simple enough to be human readable, and you could fairly easily write a Python script to do something like this.
