i gave it a try i can connect the laser now. but as u said its just randomly using 1% power :).
So i am now sticking to SGD, until lb fully works with the G9
Would u mind sharing your settings for silver stainless steel items / glass items ( SGD Laser Software) for pictures, i did cover them with black acrylic like it says on the pages ive read.
but no matter what i do once i clean it, u can barely see the design.
I tried adjusting the power the dotting time but everything kinda seems to look the same to me.
If I recall correctly, I did not coat the items I tested with. I tested those steel dog tags and stuff like that. You need to use the IR laser, not the blue diode. I think I used something around 100 mm/s, 80% power and 4 passes. 0.04 mm line distance. I did not adjust any other parameters than those.

quick question do u know if theres something i can change in LB so the laser doesnt randomly stop? i downloaded the 2.0.0 RC3 didnt really change anything.
and maybe theres a fix to not have it crash 20 times in half hour ? 
During the jobs or at any time?
Does LB crash or the connection to the laser? I’m using 2.0 as main tool right now and it never crashed so far.
it just randomly stops during the jobs.
(say u do a 3x3 engraving it does 1/4 and acts like its done and it doesnt matter what settings youre using or how many times u run the same it just stops all random)
this happens say 8 out of 10 times so pretty much anything u do with it, is a failed project and u can throw it away.
the app crashes says not responding then just closes
(when u wanna do the preview so u see the frame, 9 out of 10 times it crashes if u turn down the power with SGD to 0 so its not lasering and u start the preview one time it works other times it just starts lasering the preview frame into the material)
