Sculpfun s30 pro doesn't work - please help

Hello. I have a sculptfun s30 pro diode laser and I use Lightburn software. I made one cut and changed the plywood. I turned the laser back on and it won’t start. It gives me the ALARM 9 error on the console. I checked the cables and belts. It gives some grinding noise and not moving properly. It still doesn’t work. Please help. The console gives me the following:

I have a video but I can’t upload it.

I have the S30 Pro and you need to give more information.

  1. Does it travel towards the limit switches (front left corner) when it is trying to Home?
  2. When you actuate the switches with your finger, do you hear a clicking sound?

I hear the clicking sound when actuate the switches.
If the modul is on the center and I click on Home, nothing happens. But if it is closer than trying to go to Home position but it gives some grinding sound and not moving properly on y axis. Sometimes when its close to switches, modul touches the switches but moving hard on y axis.

One issue eliminated.

Not likely. It should either try to move or give an alarm message. Check the Console window for Alarm notifications.

Do you get this same noise when using the Jog Button for the Yaxis motion?
Did you check to see if all the connectors are securely seated?
