Sculpfun S30 Pro Max - Laser module Fan & Laser not turning on

Hi,

Has anyone had problems with their S30 Pro Max Laser module Fan & Laser not turning on?
I have my laser about 2 weeks and still busy learning the laser as well as Lighburn software.
Now my Laser module Fan & Laser not turning on. The laser runs through the engrave/cut cycle but the fan and laser is off

Your assistance/advice will be greatly appreciated

Check the cable plugs on both ends for the laser power. Make sure it is not too tight or snagging anywhere it can move.

In most cases it’s the signal cable that is either loose or broken. Make sure that the power is still coming through.

I have been in touch with SCULPFUN Tech support and we managed to find the fault, there seems to be a loose cable contact/connection to the laser module. Major delay and impact to production.

Never rely on a single device for production. Especially if you use lowest-budget devices :slight_smile: You can easily repair the cable and put a new connector on it. Those are called JST-XH 2.54. If you have orders to process, better collect spare parts soon.
