SculpFun S30 w/36in Extension

Evening,

I purchased a new Sculpfun S30 Pro w/20w laser and the 36" (900mm x 900mm) extension kit. I assembled all the parts correctly, wire placemen and connections per the instructions and i used the youtube videos. I purchased the lightburn program that goes with the S30 Pro after i installed the program, i setup the work space area (minus 5mm) for human error and i watched more videos on how to use lightburn. My first problem is the Homing Fail. I’ve entered in suggested values found in this forum, does not work. Second problem is the X axis movement. (laser rail) it operates backwards. When i click the right direction, it goes left. I click the left direction, it goes right. Third problem is the work area. When i test the Y axis movement, it does not travel to the maxium length of work area set for the Y axis. It only goes half way along the extension adapter installed and stops.
I have taken time to read through the posts submitted, ive tried some of the options and it seems to not work for me.

When i type $$ into the command prompt area, below is what i’m given after i deleted the existing preferences and re-added my S30 to the LightBurn program.

ALARM:8
Homing fail. Cycle failed to clear limit switch when pulling off. Try increasing pull-off setting or check wiring.

You haven’t updated $131 for may Y travel, this will make it return in one move from top to bottom

I found a separate post where a user had issues with their “Y” axis being backwards, where my “X” axis was backwards, along with a few other issues. The settings for that user were shown in the thread, so I entered the same settings, i then adjusted my max work area size, tested my work area and the home option, and now my laser is working as expected.

Ok, great, if you could fix it already. Here are some more tips for the start, I highly recommend going through the articles: Quick Start & Overview - Diode Laser Wiki
Additionally, I also highly recommend to start without the extension kit mounted, because this will introduce many new sources of instability and further problems that you can tackle much better if you have experience with the smaller laser setup.
