On start - sorry for my bad english, i still learn
Few times ago i buy Sculpfun s9. Everything will be okey, but today i must reinstall operation system, and i must reinstall Lightburn too.
I try to calibrate camera, but its still some bugs, like distortion. Workspace is bugged too, i have 410x400 workspace, when im trying to configure camera, the frame are flatted, and example with 4 numbers too (look in screenshots).
Im really new in engraving machine, few time age the machine works in plug and play without a hard configuration. So, i start watching guy on youtube, who tell what i need calibrate in my machine, then i change some settings who i really dont understand (maybe will be mistake, look at screenshots).
Can you go to your console window and type in $$ then enter and copy and paste output here?
You can also post in your language and we can translate which might help.
Its much better, almost all workspace is use in calibration, but now patter acrosss a machine workspace I must change this steps X, Y value or its something else?
And where i have to calibrate workspace? when i chose location on the laser manualy in workspace, for example y - 10mm, x - 50, the laser turn in y - 25, x - 80.
First of all, did you add limit switches to you S9? Otherwise it does not make sense to add a camera.
Next, in the dialog window, let LB choose the size of the calibration pattern, it usually does a good job. You do not need to change anything here. If it fails, change the scale to 170% or so, as your current scale is 205.
no, i dont add any limit switches, and really i dont know what it is. To this time i use s9 with camera, but i set laser manualy at the point and i test calibration
I know its bad, but its working for me. Now i want finaly set machine perfect, thats why i post on forum
This is not how the camera feature works. The laser needs to know its position and has to repeat this on every restart. Without limit swiches, it is possible in theory, but in practice it doesn’t make sense. So I suggest you first learn about limit switches (maybe read here: Limit Switches - Diode Laser Wiki) and then go over to the camera feature.
Setting it up perfect without limit switches is impossible.
Thanks for help, ill read about it
Then ill go back here.
Last question is about this screen with values in screenshoot that i send before.
This is all okay? Only x,y steps will be bad?
I cut few minutes ago project, and material size whose i cut is difrent than project in lightburn.
