the laser stays on in positional moves
Open the console window in LightBurn and type the following:
$$
then press enter.
If you see in the report that $32=0 then laser mode is off and the device is keeping the machine spindle spinning between cuts. The laser engraver uses the spindle control to drive the laser. S (for Spindle) is used in the G-code for laser control.
To change it type the following into the Console window:
$32=1
then press enter.
