Have never seen (or noticed) this before.
I have 2 segments that I have grouped together. One is a straight line, the other is a curve. When I select both together, the running dashes/dots move left to right, but the curve part runs right to left.
Is this normal ? When grouped together as one segment, does it matter ?
BTW, it’s Win10 running LightBurn 1.2.00, built Thu 2022-06-30.

The marching ants animation indicates the direction of the path. At least that’s how I understand it. So if a path is drawn clockwise the marching ants animation will run clockwise. Same with the reverse.
You can see the direction of travel or change it if you use the “Set shape start point” tool. Flipping the design will also result in an effective reversal of the path.
Thank you very much for the quick response. That does make sense. From looking at the PREVIEW, it appears not to affect the cut.

It does actually affect the cut. Or rather it indicates the direction of the cut. That may or may not be relevant.
