Selecting and filling in overlaps

Hi All, I am trying to work with some script type fonts in Lightburn and noticed where the one letter flows into the next it is creating an overlapping unfilled area that I want filled. I can’t figure out how to fill this space in. I have tried creating a layer of the same shape over it, but then I seem to have an unclosed path issue. Anyone know how to fix this? Image attached. Thanks

What Bikemike said. Likewise, if the text has already been turned into paths or you have the same issue with shapes, use the boolean weld function. Circled in screenshot.

Most things in LB really are simple once you know where they are. I’ve been stuck a few times and then had that slap-my-forehead moment when I realize it was right there all along.

For sure I really hate how Lightburn HIDES things in plain sight LOL
