Separating entities of a jpg to layers

I have imported a jpg drawing and would like to separate elements of the drawing to perform either line or fill. When I try to select a line the entire drawing hi light. Can this be done in LB or do I have to separate before importing. And how would I do that?

Disregard. I found a video that explains perfectly what I want to do

You must trace your image first and turn the image into a “drawing” before you can separate and process it individually.
