Serious issues since upgrade

DO NOT post your License Key
I’ve been having serious issues with the current upgrade for 2025. Its making my laser do some weird stuff like reengraving after its already done. Its not my settings and I’m not new to this program, so lets rule that out for a minute. Sometimes it does what’s asked of the program and other times it’ll randomly reengrave odd spots. Its also editing out shapes within the cut area without informing me of any changes. Its cost me a few hundred in materials so far and I’m pissed to say the least! I spoke with someone who is well known in the laser community, gave him access to my computer while on a vid chat with him and he said he can’t find anything wrong. So again that confirms it’s not my doing. Has any one else had randomly odd things happen lately since the upgrade? It also happens with no internet access, and I double checked mt system, and don’t have a computer virus. So yeah, anyone else having this issue?
If your issue requires LightBurn staff attention, please email us at support@LightBurnSoftware.com - this is a public forum

We will see if we can work it out with you.

What is your current version?
What version did you upgrade from?

Please post a LB file that exhibits this behavior.

Please for the sake of your budget, switch media to cardboard recycled from Amazon boxes or priority mailing boxes, rather than expensive material. There may be some difference in settings, but the monetary savings will make it worth your time.

Wasting materials can be very frustrating. As @JimNM, could we have a more specific set of information about the versions and specific actions. Your machine sounds highly erratic, have you also installed a operating system update or other software. Depending on the hardware please ensure your driver files are up-to-date.

As such issues have not been reported by anyone else with the latest version, it would seem likely that these issues are specific to your setup.

You can download an install any previous version of LightBurn from here Index of /LightBurn/Release/

I would recommend reverting to the previous version you were using and testing again. Until you have isolated the issue I would recommend not using expensive materials and only scrap for testing until you are sure what is happening.
