I am attempting to connect a laser I just purchased (Used Omtec k40, as well as my current sculptfun s30 to lightburn on a new laptop. It will not detect either machine. I also attempted to add the Omtec to the current laptop that I was using, will not connect… Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

The Omtech K40 do you know what motherboard it has?
When you plug the Sculpfun into the computer, do you hear the Usb noise?

Is this a new machine? Usually they come with a nano card, which isn’t Lightburn compatible.
When OMTech sells them, they usually denote the upgraded board as a K40+
If it’s used, then you’ll have to post a photo of the board.
That’s what @gilaraujo is after… to confirm the board is actually something supported by Lightburn.

Did you install the CH340 drivers? Do you see any device in device manager popping up once connected?
