Setting $30 and $32 values

When i open the console and enter the $$ command the display does not have a $31 or $32 command line. If I enter $30=1000 it returns an invalid command response

Type $ and press enter and it will tell you which GRBL version you have. You are likely not using GRBL 1.1f or higher, and therefore do not have those settings.

Your right grbl9
What do I need to do to update grbl ?
Or do i need a different controller

You can likely just re-flash the controller using a flash / hex upload utility. I can’t say for certain if your board would be 1.1f compatible.

Copy your current settings to a text file so you have them - updating the firmware will reset them to defaults, so you’ll need to re-apply your settings if you do this.

You can use the GRBL-M3 device in LightBurn, but engraving images may be slow because without laser mode the board will pause with each power change.

I am using the elksmaker mana se v3.2 does that shed any light on this

It’s not a board I use, so I don’t know a lot about it. I know quite a few people use the trial of T2Laser to flash their Eleksmaker boards, so you could try that.

I’ll try and let you know how it does

0z you are definitely the Wizard of LightBurn thank you so much problem corrected
