I am setting up a chuck type rotary , on omtech 2028 90w co2 laser, with ruidia controller, lightburn v 2.0.04, on a windows 11 computer. I have my steps dialed in, but when the burn is done the x axis moves to “0” which on my machine is to the right.
I want it to return to the start point to avoid the laser head from crashing into the Rotary itself when doing burns lower than the Rotary top. I have watched you tube videos saying go to move panel, jog to where you want then push finish position, however there is no set finish position button on my move panel. beginner mode is off. Any help appriciated.
Ruida Controller Devices: The Set Origin, Clear Origin, or Set Finish Position controls will not be displayed as these are handled by the controller itself. LightBurn will generally show only controls you can use.
Galvo Devices: none of the functions in the Move Window are applicable to Galvo lasers, so this window will not be displayed in your default layout.
