Settings to fill-in text

Hi there, I was just wondering if someone can help me to Tell me what the best settings are to fill-in text please

How long is a string?

There are a ton of variables in the world of laser hobbies. 1st off, change your scan angle to 00. There is a significant mechanical benefit to the 00 degree scan angle.

The media that you are engraving will require some different settings.

The laser wavelength and output power will need some different settings for both power and speed.

Lightburn has a very easy material test that is pre-programmed into the software. Give that a try :slight_smile:

you can also set it to fill shapes individually. This will fill an entire shape at once instead of scanning back and forth across your bed. this is faster I find than trying to fill ALL of them at once.

Flood Fill

-or- turn off flood fill and try these three options.

Use the PREVIEW button to check on the output and time needed…
