I am very new to Lightburn and Ortur. I have just set up my machine and downloaded Lightburn. When i try to frame an image the laser goes to the bottom left corner and makes a horrible noise - what am I doing wrong - or what should I do to fix this? Many thanks
Can you describe exactly the steps followed to make this happen?
Does this happen in all projects or only in specific ones?
If i put the laser in the middle of the frame and press Frame the laser heads to the bottom left corner and makes a horrible noise - it is like it wants to go further than it should
Where is the “Job Origin” marker located (small green square) or how is it defined in the “Job Origin” laser window?
Perhaps if you could share the job in question it might be easier to identify the source of the problem.
I just drew a square - went to Frame
I (we) am not seeing what you see. That’s why you need to clarify the questions being asked so that we can somehow visualize what’s happening on your side.
It could be something simple or something more complex, but without the doubts clarified, giving suggestions is just that.
To guide you correctly, it’s necessary to know exactly what’s happening. That’s why I suggested sharing the file only with the intention of analyzing it, and whether it’s something at work or something on the machine.
I have to go to work now, so I suggest you check this out if you haven’t already:
Are you homing your machine before you are framing your project?
What start from mode are you using?
Before you get started, you should review the different job origin modes:
