I have created a shape which will be a cut line and placed an image within the shape.
Four parts of the image fall outside the shape.
I’d like to make the shape go around the image so those parts outside the line are part of the cut line.
If I trace the image outline and place it on a layer and then Snip away all within the shape cut line and remove the shape cut line that goes through the parts of the image that extend outside the shape…Is that the most practicle way to go about this task.
Sorry about the info..I really gave it my descriptive best. I had left the laptop and tether at the workshop…Brain baked after three days of brush-cutting in the sunshine.
I got the fix, which was ‘Shift and select each shape required’. It took me many hours of contemplation as to why Weld wasnt usable and what conditions prevent its use…then a sixty second search solved the issue.
Nothing but graphics and Node trimming the past few weeks so I found myself unexpectedly in new territory with a nice end result. It has upped the quality and variety of production to a new level and Im combining images, shapes, cuts, varying depth engrave and weld.
It’s starting to bed in now, but like they say, “First five years is the hardest”.
