Show Last Position doesn't know where laser head is until AFTER pressing Show Last Position

Red X shows only after moving the head with the move tool or Get Position button is pressed.
If I press Home it doesn’t update the head position until I push the Get Position button.
After a Frame the head returns to home. After a Cut the head returns to Orgin (set on control pad) Red X stays at whatever position it was last moved to or Get Position determined it.

So I am not sure if I know how this works and it seem slightly irregular.

It doesn’t update automatically or live, as doing so would require constantly querying the machine, and on some systems would interfere with data transfer. It is intended as a positioning tool, so live updates aren’t necessary. Press “Get Positions” or use the click-to-move tool to have it update.
