Hi. We have a (Needham Lasers) Create Pro engraver that we use for engraving inside rings.
I was wondering if it was possible to bring up the rotary marking window without needing to close the main door? The laser uses a JCZ EZCAD2 controller. I don’t know what else I need to mention.
It’d be very useful because right now I need to close the door, open the menu, open the door, and then continue with aligning things.
I assume, you would have to disable the door switch safety to do this.
This is my device settings… My foot switch is attached to port 14, so I have it set for start marking.
There is a door protect, which probably stops things from working… Change it to none will disable this for all operations.
These are displayed dynamically, so if the control board is powered up, you can open/close the door and see which port it’s active… It’s likely whatever value put in door protect.
