I’m trying to get the laser which is controlled by a CNC router for motion, to 0,0 at the home position. When I click go to origin it moves almost to the top left corner of router bed? Am I missing something silly.

Go to Origin will go to the stored user origin point that you set last. If you never set one, it’ll be 0, 0.
That’s different than “Home”, which triggers a homing command on the machine and runs the homing sequence.

Origin is software 0,0 which can be anywhere in the workspace.. Home is machine 0,0 which is determined by the limit switches and is always in the same place.
