Skewed Engravings with JPT M7 60W - Calibration Issue?

Hello everyone,

I need your help with a persistent problem with my setup:

Hardware: JPT M7 60W Laser Module Software: LightBurn Pro

Problem: All engravings (both text and graphics) are output skewed - they run slightly upward from left to right. With the original EZcad software everything runs perfectly straight, but I’d like to stick with LightBurn since I have no experience with EZcad.

What I’ve already tried:

• Performed lens calibration through LightBurn
• Tried various settings
• The problem persists consistently

My assumptions:

• Could it be related to the workspace settings?
• Is the axis configuration possibly incorrect?
• Are there special parameters for JPT modules to consider in LightBurn?

Does anyone have experience with JPT M7 modules in combination with LightBurn? Or any general ideas about what could be causing this constant skew?

I’d be grateful for any tips!

Thanks

Did you import the configuration file from EZCad2 into Lightburn? That’s were all the settings exist for the machine and usually the supplied lens.

I have an M60 JPT M7 MOPA. If it works in EZCad2, then it should work with Lightburn.

There are no adjustments other than what’s in the device settings.

If you’re running a Lightburn >1.7.08, maybe you can try that software.

Yes, the parameters are identical.

I also deleted everything and set it up again. With fonts and logos, the results are “warped” as if they were rotated 2-3 minutes counterclockwise.

As I said, no problem with EZcad. It’s like it’s jinxed.

I don’t know what would cause that or a correction…

Maybe @Aaron.F can lend a hand.
