Slow down 6445g framing speed?

Is there a way to slow down the Frame speed? I was told that lowering the Idle speed would do it. But will that affect something else?

Manual says." Idle Move Speed: this parameter decides the highest speed of all non-lighting lines for the machine in the movement process."

I haven’t fiddled with this in a while, but I think it uses whatever speed is set at the console for a frame initiated from the console.

Frame from Lightburn is set in the move window, I believe.

I think it’s for the speed to move between objects when the laser is not firing while in ‘run’ mode. So if you slow it down it will effect the job time.

I see what you mean. Well dog gone it. I never use the frame in Lightburn, as my laptop is not close like the console is.

Every day I learn something new about that controller

Only recently did I come up with a machine to put next to the laser, so I never used the Lightburn ‘frame’ either…

Probably never will be, doubt you can get a pc closer to the machine than it’s console.

My OMTech 60 W red/black laser sprouted wings for that very purpose:

The PC sits on the left-side shelf with the monitor on top and a trackball out in front. I’m tweaking a 40% keyboard to replace that stock 103 monster.

It’s not much further away than the console and the display is much better!
