Double letters when engraved

I downloaded a new version of Lightburn and now I am having issues with double letters. Before the download, everything was perfectly fine. Mirrors and lenses are clean and aligned, bed is level. I checked the belt, and I did slightly tighten it, but that didn’t change anything. My cuts are fine. [17116693587626725934589979157989] I have an 80w Omtech, I did see some others like this question, but non of the answers pertains to my issue, or help me.

Rudia controller is showing x,y at 0 but u at 10000

Laser has been working fine, but i noticied yeterday the bed wouldnt move up or down sometimes, now it wont move at all. X and y move just fine but i cant adjust the bed. Its making a noise like its trying to move. I noticed home is x0, y0, u10000. Im thinking its a control panel problem since its saying my home is 10000. Help?

My laser engraves double or unclear

hi all… my laser is Laser Tree LT 40W f23…motherboard MKS dlc 32 v2.1…working area frame is 600x500…2 motors on Y axis and 1 motor on Z axis. I tried to make material test and photo image on the slate coaster,and it engraved double or unclear.I tried several speeds and powers and it does the same. Speed mm/min 2000 - 2500 - 3000 - 3500 - 4000 Power 20% Dithering - Stucki - Atkinson imagR - Norton black slate. I have been trying this for 1 week. On plywood is same…on anodized aluminium …

Engraving double and not straight

Hello, I’m having the following problem my laser is engraving some words in my design like double and when is time to cut the edge in some corners it goes like a s instead of a straight line. How can I fix this issue? I attach some picture above [IMG_2643] [IMG_2644]

How to get my Omtech Laser to cut a true square?

Hello, I’m after some help. My new Omtech 60W laser is cutting skewed, I’ve cut a square and measured the sides which were the same but the diagonals are off (300x300mm square the diagonals are coming out as 423.5mm and 425mm). When measuring the distance from the X axis to the frame, it is closer on the left hand side than the right as demonstrated by the photos holding the plastic object. Is it reasonable to expect this to be the reason that the square is skewed and if so, is it possible to …

It’s surprisingly common to know “I’ve checked everything”, only to find the loose something after going over the whole machine with fresh eyes.
