Hello. I have a question. I have a Smoothieware license but it has expired and I would like to exchange it for a Ruida license. Do I have to buy the license for 240 USD or can I pay the difference?
You have to have a Ruida controller, which is dsp, not a smoothieware board. Are you going to remove the smoothieware controller and put in a Ruida controller?

A Ruida does not have any kind of motor drivers, like most smoothieware boards use.
As @Rick advised you can upgrade the software after you get the hardware in place. There are a number of vendor settings in the Ruida you might have to modify.
Un Ruida nu are niciun fel de drivere de motor, așa cum folosesc majoritatea plăcilor de smoothieware.
