Snapmaker 2.0 Control over USB. Mac OS (Bug Sur)

This may be too basic a question for some, but I need to start somewhere and I find SnapMaker Luban impossible to work with as you have to reset all settings every time you open a file.

Can I control a SnapMaker 2.0 A350 over USB from Mac OS. Do I need any special drivers?

If not, SnapMaker exports the code as a .nc file. Can Lightburn do this?

Thanks guys, I have spent the entire day watching Lightburn Tutorials, and now I’m stumped at this late time.

Snapmaker aren’t grbl - they’re kinda grbl.

You would need to change your firmware to a grbl 1.1 variant.

Try using the search tool here and look for Snapmaker, you will find a lot of information. Here is one that should help. After review, let us know how you get on and we can go from there.
