Soft as a baby's butt

Sure, 100W can punch through 1/2" plywood, but what if you need some finesse?
Modifications, adjustments, fine-tuning and chasing the extremes.

Nah. Just cute. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thought about doing a whole roll with the rotary?

I do have a rotary… At some point though, knowing I could do it is good enough.

I’d also need to build a take-up roll which would need to run at a different speed because of different diameter. Also doable with 3D, a stepper, and Arduino…

They do that by controlling the torque of the take-up roller. Maintains a constant tension on the paper.

Do the whole roll, square by square, then re-roll it onto the tube.

First square has a “This side up” with an arrow pointing towards the second sheet so the roll gets properly hung so it feeds “over the top” to prevent those evil “under and behind” people from ruining a proper and enjoyable bathroom experience.

The middle three sheets should all be printed with “50%” to heighten awareness of a quickly depleting roll.

At 75%, there needs to be instructions for the user to find a new roll as this is now becoming a serious situation.

Once you get to 90%, every sheet needs to be a warning that reads “The End is Near!”

The last square is obviously just “The End.”

An alternative would be the Star Wars opening scroll: “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”

Watch the YouTube channel “Smarter Everyday” to see how Kodak does it when manufacturing film. It’s pretty interesting!
