I installed the software on my computer however it freezes my system I am not even able to get to the place where I enter my license code to activate it. I downloaded the pro version
How long did you wait? A new install with the latest version will have a long delay on the first run. Later it will launch much faster.
it does not matter how long I wait it seems like it is opening but if I click on anything it takes forever to respond. If I just click on help for example I am waiting for minutes for it to even display help if it displays at all. Even when I click file open it takes for ever to respond it is like it is slowing down my computer and I have a pretty damn powerful system I run Fusion and my CAD program as well as Cura with no issues
Check if you have some kind of firewall that waits for an answer…
I have a vpn running no firewall though, I am a small company pretty much only one computer running at a time. This seems to respond but click on anything and it is 60 seconds before it does anything. I have never seen an issue like this with any other software before. I tried uninstalling and re installing that did not help. I did get it to activate my license but it took for ever to get it to respond to even that. I have 64 gig of RAM in this computer and I am running a xeon W-1290P CPU and a Geforce RTX 5060 GPU
Do you have a lot of files in the directory that you are trying to open files from? That used to be a problem in past versions.
No files at all this is my first attempt at laser , does this have anything to do with my internet speed it was running super slow yesterday. Today I fired this up and everything seems to be working fine
