Thanks Dean - no offense taken. Lightwave looks like nice software but is well beyond my budget for what would be occasional and mostly non-paying work.
Blender seems like a good place to start for my needs and budget. Thanks for taking the time to educate me.

No - it’s a good chunk of work. Something I’d like to do, but more of a fun toy than a serious feature, so we’re trying to focus on more practical things for now.
I took the advice and use Blender, but it’s kinda confusing. Does any one know how to transform the character on this picture to the 3d vector illustration like the original picture of this post?
You would need to create a 3D model of it. It’s not going to be automatic, or simple.
