Your xTool engraver is in a strange state. A firmware failure can do this.
Some folks have experienced a need to keep repeating/hammering the firmware upgrade 4 or 5 times to get it to take.
If you’re seeing this in the Console window in LightBurn it’s the STM32 chip in the xTool repeating it’s broken start sequence. If you can break firmware you’ve successfully completed 90% of the reflash - You’re actually much closer to the goal than you think you are. Yes it’s frustrating, new, and probably not as rewarding as artwork but it is a handy skill to learn. xTool has written and re-written the firmware several times to offer the best possible experience that they can for you.
A random note that might help if you have one available. If you’re trying the USB method of updating firmware, try another cable. I’ve had issues flashing firmware to my phone before, half taking, cutting out midway, and it turned out to be just a crap cable. The XTool takes a standard USB-B, the same one printers use.
It will run a program fine, but won’t jog? That… kinda doesn’t make sense. In the console window, try typing $H (note the capital H), followed by G0 X100. Afterwards, try the jog buttons again.
EDIT: Also could you post a screenshot of your device settings for the XTool.
