Hello,
I’m new to this world, for Christmas I will receive a Creality 22W Falcon2 because I saw that it can engrave as well cut thin slabs of condensed wood. One thing that I’m still not sure about is how could I make both operation at the same time. Is it possible with a single “play” on Lighburn to both CUT certain parts of the slabs and engrave the others?

Sure can. Engraving and cutting as part of the same project is a regular activity in LightBurn. You control this by defining “layers” with some of these being for cutting and others engraving. (Always make sure you position your layers so you engrave before you cut.) This may sound foreign to you now, but you will soon learn that the LightBurn tutorials and “how to” videos on YouTube are incredible. Through these you will be able to learn how to do pretty much anything you want to do with LightBurn.
You made a great choice in your laser purchase. I have had several lasers and recently purchased the Creality Pro 2 60 watt version. I am extremely impressed with this machine. You’re going to love it.
