Spaced Circles Along The Sides

Newbie question. I am trying to make a series of circles (holes) and need to have then spaced at regular intervals apart along the side of a square. Is there a way to do this? An example would be 10 holes along the side of a square each 1/2 inch apart.

X or Y Offset
V or H Spacing
Outline tool with object grouping and centering
Many many more…
