Spare glasses for Creality Falcon 2

Hello,

As a newbie in the world of laser creation I am looking to have a second pair of security glasses for my diode laser Creality Falcon 2 - 22W.
I read on the specs that the wavelength is 455±5nm but I don’t know where to start to find security glasses that match these specs and European standards.

Is there some well known websites and/or manufacturers I can have a look on ?

I found some stuffs on Amazon like JILERWEAR OD6+ Lunettes de protection laser professionnelles 180 nm - 540 nm pour laser 405 nm, 445 nm, 532 nm et lunettes de protection laser violet/bleu/vert 450 nm (spécialement conçues pour les : Amazon.fr: Bricolage

but I don’t really know what to think about it so I might needs your help :wink:

Those should be fine. They cover the correct range and are OD 6+, which is good as well.

If you want glasses that meet the European standards, you should check out laser supply shops. Amazon sellers usually don’t sell certified glasses. Or, just check the prices, in Germany, certified and tested glasses cost around €120 and up. If it’s cheaper, they most likely not comply with the standards.
Though, everyone has to decide how important the eyesight is :slight_smile: For me, it was worth it to spend €125 for my glasses.

Do you have any example of online shops where I can find some of those ?

We don’t usually make product recommendations but most of the staff at LightBurn have ordered from Thor Labs.

I found them very professional, shipping was fast and service was excellent.
