Hi, I’ve just got a Laser and for some reason when I choose slower speed the laser still travels fast so it doesn’t cut. Even if I select a slower speed it keeps going fast. Any idea how to fix. I’m a new user of the software and machine. Thanks in advance
Please post a screenshot (not a cell phone pic) of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Units and Grids tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon).

If Lightburn is set for inches and you expect mm, then it will move 1 inch, not 1 mm.
Most of these work in mm, but it sounds like you have one set for inches, like Lightburn. Ensure both machines are set for the same unit.

Was it the unit setting … I.E. inches/mm?
