Speed up lasering

Hi There

when making a file to laser a oak board I do the following:
Text left lower corner
Speed 500 mm/min power 100%

Text right upper corner
Speed 500 mm/min power 100%

Between the texts the laser travels at the same (500 mm/min) speed
is there a way to speed this up ?

There are a couple of options:

  • Change the Fill layer to ‘Fill groups together’
  • Go to Edit > Device Settings and enable Fast Whitespace, optionally give it a speed to use for the blank areas
