I have a request to split an image over 4 boards. I know how to tile in Vcarve, but not lightburn. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I watched that. But vs one long board it is 4 squares. The center of the image will be in the center of the squares.
Yes, I understood that you wanted individual squares. The video is applicable to accomplishing this from 0:00 - 6:27.
As an example:
Starting with this:
I use a tool layer to draw my grid (four boxes):
Then with the design grouped as one object, I select the design and a square together and Tools : Cut Shapes
I repeat for the remaining three squares:
