Stanley cup engraving issues

I use a AtomStack A10 Pro at work and was given me the mission to engrave this cup, the thing is why it has different colors when engraving on the back and the front? I use a test where I engrave 3 circles, 20% power, 30% and 40% to know when the engraving will be black or metal color, all 3 was metal so I decided to go with the 40% BUT the engraving is black anyways.

This one is 20%, it has the metal color

Also I have a problem that the roller is going back and foward too fast it messed up the alignment of the drawing of the balance, ā€œfast white space scanā€ is disabled so I donā€™t know what setting I should change

Hi Raul,

What youā€™re seeing here is either a partial or full removal of the powder coat on the tumbler, probably due to the power variance that occurs when the focus slightly drifts as it goes over the rollers.

You can reduce the acceleration of the rotary under Edit > Machine Settings.

Thank you for the answer, the problem of the Y axis moving too fast was solved, thank you so much. About the focus drifiting I donā€™t know about itā€¦ you might be right but I still have some doubt, thatā€™s because the name ā€œTom Marquesā€ goes full length and has no variation, I engraved another cup yesterday with 20% that starts way on the botton and it has no variation (using the same level alignment of the orange cup):

Maybe the power variance occurs just from more than 30%, is that what you mean?
