Can anyone tell me what is the lowest version of lightburn to include the Star drawing tool please.
I am using the 2.0.5 version and My friends (Still learning on v 1.7) is trying to draw a 5 point star decals.
Many thank for any reply
You’re looking for the details on New Shapes or ‘New Built-in Shapes’ in the release of LightBurn 2.0
You can free hand a star by making a pentagon and drawing lines between the inside angles using the line tool. You can also make a star for him and send it to him in an svg file. You also could find a star image and trace it.
There are lots of skins on that cat - it is just a matter of thinking outside the box.
Here is a LB file with a bunch of them centered on a 1" diameter circle
Five_Point_Stars.lbrn2 (72.6 KB)
Thanks for those who replied to my request.
However, my mistake in not stating the topic correctly.
I have upgraded my versions on lightburn as they became available and stable, so that I am now working with Ver 2.0.5.
I remember when the STAR drawing tool was added to the options in left tool frame window. but I cannot find what version that was. As I hesitate to tell my friend to jump to the latest version of the software I would like to suggest to him to upgrade to the version that included the Star drawing tool. Its this version number that I am trying to find.
Hope this clarifies my query
Thanks

Release Candidate? The latest Production version is v2.1.03 so far.
Considering later releases fixed some issues, I recommend he download the latest version his license update renewal will allow.
Thanks to all for replying to my query. Version 2.0 is the answer and I wiil advise my friend to update to this version

In case their license key has expired for free updates, they will need to add another year to the existing key using this page:
